For someone like me that can never truly guess if it's done, ths is perfect. Sure we have all seen those different sized non digital ones, but like alot of gauges, you can bump them around and be off on your readings. When it comes to any meats, that could make the difference between cook longer to be safe or food poisoning. I haven;t been cooking long but the last thing i want on my conscience is someone getting sick . And also as we get older our eyes play tricks so digital is easier to read. So enjoy and keep food safe.
